The airport express bus services that link Katowice Airport with train stations in the city of Katowice stop right outside the Arrivals Terminal C. Ticket machines are located inside Terminal C, but bus tickets can also be purchased from the driver. Katowice city is located ca 40 km distance from the airport and buses run throughout the day, every day of the week.
Bus line AP3 runs between Katowice Dworzec (Railway Station) - Pyrzowice Port Lotniczy (Katowice Airport). Departures of line AP3 at night are synchronized to allow for a guaranteed connection at Katowice Railway Station with line AP4, which will allow for transport to Tychy, a popular tourist destination due to the Brewery Museum that is located there.
Line AP2 also starts at the railway station in Katowice: Katowice Dworzec (Railway Station) - Katowice Sokolska - Katowice Strefa Kultury - Sosnowiec Dworzec PKP (Railway Station) - Będzin Stadion – Pyrzowice Port Lotniczy (Katowice Airport).

Leo Express minibus operator is the official supplier of minibus links between Ostrava, Bohumin, Rybnik, Gliwice and Katowice Airport. Reservations by telephone: +48 608 92 19 19. The minibus stops at Ostrava-Sninov bus station, which is within a few steps of the railway station. Trains leave at 11.15, 12.34 and 22.05 hours to arrive at 12.54, 16.06 and 04.46 hours in Oswiecim.
Trains leave at 11.53, 16.58 and 23.56 hours to arrive at 15.25, 19.19 and 05.31 hours back in Katowice.
