Founded in the USA by Jack Taylor in 1957 by Jack Taylor, the company today offers car rental in 85 different countries and 7,600 locations around the world. Katowice Airport is one of these locations, but there are also offices at other locations in central Poland. The nearest of those is Gliwice City Centre, where an Enterprise office can be found at Tarnogorska 215.

At Katowice Airport customers can find an Enterprise rental station in the arrivals zone of the terminal. The pick-up area for vehicles is a designated parking space in the general car park just across from the terminal.

The Enterprise Katowice Airport rental station is open from Mondays to Fridays from 8.00 to 22.00 hours. On Saturdays the desk is open from 9.00 to 17.00 hours. The Enterprise service desk is closed on Sundays.

The minimum age requirement for renters is 21. A young drivers' fee applies for renters aged 21 to 24. This fee will be charged daily in addition to the basic rental rate. Additional drivers can also be added to the contract: each additional driver will be charged at 4.00 euros per day per person (excluding VAT at 23%).

Acceptable forms of payment are credit cards and cash. Enterprise regrets but the company cannot accept debit cards. Credit cards that can be used for payment are American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard, Visa and JCB.

A deposit will be taken when a car is selected from the Enterprise Katowice Airport fleet. This amount will include the cost of rental, Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection excess, a full tank of fuel, and an admin fee of 30.00 euros. All vehicles are delivered with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank of fuel to the rental station.

Customers are permitted to take their Enterprise rental vehicle from Katowice Airport across the Polish border into all European/Schengen area countries, except for Albania, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
